Biography

Hello my name is Tabitha Robin; a writer of the soul. I write from the depths of my heart allowing my faith to shine to the world. I am a mother of three beautiful children and an adopted mother to many others in this world. This is my second book of Poetry. Through the fire of life I am refined, but it is by my Faith in Christ I am defined.

Synopsis

“Soulful Ink” is a book of inspirational poetry. It is complied with poems about my Faith, my family, my nation, my heritage and my love. It is my soul that you read; from the ink of my soul you see my heart.  This is my second book following my first book called “The Burning Bush” which also is a book of poetry. You may ask why I have titled this book “Soulful Ink” well this is the reason why.

2 Corinthians 3:3

Forasmuch as you are manifestly declared to be the Epistle of Christ ministered by us (Christ was the Author of the Epistle of which Paul speaks, i.e., ‘soul saved from sin and darkness’), written not with ink, but with the Spirit of the Living God (which is the highest commendation of all); not in tables of stone, but in fleshy tables of the heart (referring to changed hearts).

I write these words from the very depths of my soul, sharing my Faith with each of my readers. Please join me on my journey into faith, My “Soulful Ink”.

Mathematical Equation to You

Negative Y plus Positive O
Equals a Neutral U
this is the Philosophy of Y O U.
Maybe If Y O U, were more than a Number;
Y O U would find life’s freeing from the encumber,

So Now, a Positive Y plus Positive O,
Equals an entire U,
This is the mathematics of Living full and complete,
Which Equation will Y O U work out?
Y O U can be solved by many problems,

Maybe Negative Y plus Negative O
Equals a Loss of U,
This is the bottom of the chart,
Y O U must be re-added,
This quandary is hard to live,

What Equation of Mathematical Life Solution are you living?
How do you want the problem to end?
Where are you going, what is the outcome?
Is the Solving Solution to Y O U going to turn out Fine?
What is your answer to Y O U?

*

Y equals God the Father,

O equals God the Son,

U equals God the Holy Ghost,

The answer is Faith*

Virtu

Virtu hidden in my face,
Lays ethereal amongst my soul,
Heritage is by no means, disgrace;
My nexus is more than colored coal,

Image of heart is not askew,
Essence flows allay,
Brain of unknown brings about a new,
Body just summits without a sigh,

My blood trickles my birthright,
Though of spirit, sire of dominion;
Plucked from the depths of heart’s insight,
Who I am, is not your opinion;

My Destiny can not be rapine,
For it is my own truth,
Waxed by Faith confine;
Found in the blood of my youth,

Cherokee legacy is not a wag,
It is crimped by a negative mind;
Covered under injustice a soiled rag,
With open intelligence, love can find;

Vapid expression never more,
Inheritance given a soulful agog,
Society prejudice though crimped, now an open door;
Verve lifted from the darken smog,

Dismal past, Brighten Future, initiate Present;
Deliberation within the source of revenue, become genesis;
The Creator is always Omnipresent;
Only disbelievers’ distrust,

My Virtu will always wax true,
It is my fortune, my destiny, my being;
No one can change it, not even you;
For I am founded on the foundation of well-being.

Passover

The Passover is near,

Can you hear the call?

In a land the slaves cry,

A man has come to do God’s work,

To set the captive free,

But the evil King will not let them go,

Moses spoke with authority,

God’s words he did speak,

“Let My People Go”

But still the Pharaoh would not listen,

Then come plagues and famines,

Like never seen before,

The water was turned into blood,

And Fire rain down from heaven,

Seven was the number of the great plagues,

But still Pharaoh would not hear God,

Until the last deadly plague fell upon the Land,

The Children of Israel slaved to a land,

That did not belong to them,

God told them all to cover their door post,

For the Passover was about to come,

So with the Blood of a lamb,

They painted each door and window,

To save their first born from this plague,

Darkness covered the land,

Death swept over and took the life of every first born,

A Great Cry was heard across this land,

For so many died within sin,

The lamb’s blood covered many doors,

All that were in that house was spared,

They where safe and saved from this sin,

Because they heard God’s voice,

And covered their doorpost with the life saving blood,

Now the Passover is happening again,

We must cover our doorpost,

The Lamb of God died for us,

We must cover our house with His Cleansing Blood,

Cover your doorpost with the precious saving Blood,

For Death will not harm you if the Blood has been applied,

I hear Death coming near,

Have you been covered?

I have applied the blood of the Lamb of God,

To my Life,

I am now saved from Death Eternal,

I shall live forever more,

Death I am free from your hands,

No longer am I a slave to you,

Thank you Jesus for dieing for me,

That Cross where your blood was shed,

I were I am saved,

Buried in the Tomb with Christ,

Resurrected with Christ in newness of life,

The Blood has been applied to me,

For my body is a vessel,

I have covered my door post,

I am free from death, hell and the grave,

I have been saved by The Cross of Christ,

The Passover is here,

Do you have your doorpost covered?

If not paint your life with the cleansing Blood,

Be free from you sin,

Be free from Death,

For the Lamb of God’s Blood is free,

The Passover is here,

He the Cry of God,

“Let My People Go”

For the Blood is applied,

They have been bought by the Blood,

They are free forever more,

The Passover,

Can you see?

Can you hear?

Can you believe?

Review for Soulful Ink by Tabitha Robin

GO!
Go the distance that no one else has,
Fly to another world,
Go farther than the known,
Take the chance you've been given,
The Adventure, Only you can journey;
Don't stand still on the edge of past,
Go, Find the treasure life bestows;
Search the depths of your soul,
Test the waters of your mind,
Dive deep into caverns unexplored,
Climb mountains, that never been climbed;
Fly into diminutions of only your time,
Go, don't be dormant;
Go, find all that can be found;
An Answer, A Truth, A love, A life
Go, for only you can travel it;
Go, Hurry before time runs out,
Go, Just journey Through the unknown;
Make it become known

Here is another soldier of the greatest army in the world--the ones who fight no wars that kill and the ones whose only weapon is love. If God is Not Real is one of many of my favorite poems in this astonishing, revitalizing and well penned book. It begs that you look deep within to answer the question that you want answered, the doubts that cloud your judgments and keep you from your eternal source. A lie can’t live that long, so why then are people still talking and fighting over a man who walked this earth more than two-thousand years ago? We should all know why by now—even those in denial, just go to prove the point. Talented Author, Tabitha Robin’s inspirations come from a place that is beautiful, untouched and full of reverence—from HIM. As a Christian, I was in awe once again for this great God that we so adore, the one who shed his blood for sinners and rose from the dead on the third day!

     Bought With Blood, You are, Shoes, Hello God, Flower of  Blood, My Hero, Show Me and Conservative Republican are some of my favorites and an attestation to the Author’s faith and love in Christ and a reminder to all—Christians and non-believers—to Go, just journey through the unknown and make it known. All honor and praise to him who reigns forever and ever, Amen.”

Review for Soulful Ink by Tabitha Robin

Tabitha's poetry is textured, reflective and flows peacefully.  You can hear her heart mending with each page penned. She’s expressive and spends herself on behalf of the weary, walking her readers through inspirational words to a better way of life.

Every poem-had purpose. For me there were many favorites. "Higher Expectations,” "Go!", and in her poem, "Good Friday" she brilliantly takes us on a journey that many Authors never do.

 “Such a big crowd lined down the streets,
Voices raise in screams and mockery,
There is a man, covered in blood;
Carrying a Cross,
O, the pain I felt as I watched this sight,
My heart felt as if it were breaking into pieces,
I watched as the guards beat Him,
They were spitting in His face,
Pulling out His beard, No word came from His mouth;
He had a crown of thorns buried into his head,
He did not try to stop them at all,
Barely making it to His destination,
And could hardly go on, (Just a portion)

I highly suggest that everyone eat up the pages of 'Soulful Ink' and  become inspired to find the freedom she speaks so eloquently about.
Eat it up.  It’s good meat for the soul!

Soulful Ink Faith in the Cross of Christ

  Words of encouragement, wonderment and faith can be found in these poetic words, offering a glimpse into the writer's heart and faith.  I mostly liked Dear John and Fallen Angel. The words in Dear John are the same words I'd write to my own husband. Fallen Angel speaks to the heart of true faith in God, seeing the good and the evil and choosing your own path. I give this collection of poems a 4.
